Sorry to be picky - but you now need some nice anodized black bolts to set it off perfectly.  Lovely job though.

Steve

I use fasteners from this guy on ebay, they are black stainless steel and look really good IMO. He is very helpful and if you can't find what you want just ask and likelihood is he can help.

Ok, for those who wanted more details on the bracket.....

70mm x 46mm x 2mm steel plate, with a couple of bends in to ensure it misses the boss on the bars.

Copy holes from OEM bracket, drill and paint.........simples! :001:

I've fitted it using the original spacers supplied to allow for clearance above the lever clamp.

The photo's probably explain better!!

Yes, smashing job. Definitely going to do that to my bike when it comes next month! Makes you wonder why Oxford don't make a similar bracket. Probably wouldn't fit enough other bikes. Anyone want to start banging them out at a reasonable cost for forum members?

Looking good, I've a stuck with the stock bracket but put a few coats of satin black paint (No Nonsense anti corrosive  satin black from screwfix £4.99)  on  the bracket and bolts so they match the bars better. I'm looking at painting the hex bolts on the rest of the handle bar too, I'm not keen on an all satin black handlebar with 4 bright silver bolts look, to me they spoil the look.
