All the traction control malarky (except for abs and the setting that keeps the front wheel on the ground) are just technology driven gizmos, put on bikes because the electronics is available and cheap, rather than because most riders actually need them.

set you traction control to 3 and have a play to see how it works in real world riding.... It nice knowing that if im pulling out of a junction for example a bit quick banked over it wont flick me off.

How does it work, do you turn it to 25 degC and the sun comes out.
