opinions?
« on: August 03, 2017, 12:32:12 PM »
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-Z1000SX-Ninja-1000-2017-Engine-Guard-R-Gaza-Crash-Bars-with-Sliders-/263120889248?hash=item3d433a25a0:g:bWsAAOSwR4FZgisj

I don't think they look too bad and the price seems very reasonable compared to some of the crash mushrooms on the market. Still don't know if I'd want them on the bike though.

If you don't think they look to bad, why are you asking others for their opinions  :187:  :038:

Definitely not my cup of tea, but...refer to the above statement!  :028:

FFS, I only asked for opinions on them. Sorry if I upset the forum police  :121:, maybe I'll just not post anything in future. Did you get out of bed on the wrong side this morning? Thought this was the reason for having a forum, to ask questions, get help, get OPINIONS?  :oh_no:

Alba .. Mark was only expressing his personal opinion ... No need to jump on him.  :027:

If you like them and think its a reasonable price ...

GET THEM !!!  :oh_no:

I saw these on FB yesterday.

I personally prefer not to have a crash cage on the bike as it will probably hinder the removal of the side fairings.

Would be easy to fit side running lights to the bike though.  :038:

Just my opinion but I don't think they look too bad. if you really feel you want to fit guards then they look as good as any.

Well, there was no need for him to accentuate with bold lettering and to question why I was asking opinions on them, or to state "refer to above statement". I only asked what people thought of them, didn't once say I was buying or fitting them, or that I was forcing anybody else to buy them. He could have simply given his opinion, like I asked in the first place. Am I not allowed to ask what people think?

I also used a winking smiley and a thumbs up, that you chose to completely ignore and just pickup on bold text. Maybe you should stop being so sensitive, since we're mostly a bunch of blokes on here that you asked for an opinion from; you didn't say I had to remove & leave out my sense of humor before posting!  :oh_no:

If you like them, go for it! Oops, :431: if you like them, go for it!  :038:  :008:

Be handy if you ride the bike in winter or still running the crap tyres that Kawasaki fitted to the 17 models!

I think that they look OK apart from the poor looking welds.

Possibly good for mounting ancillaries on as well.

As for how they perform in any crash, well like most of these things it would depend upon the dynamics of the crash.
